Jessica Roby – Counselor, MA, LPCC
Hi! I’m glad you are here. One of my hopes for you is that you will leave our sessions having uncovered a deeper understanding of yourself and with skills or tools to help you manage your current issues and future concerns.
I believe each person can produce positive change in their life and that wellness can come from working through your goals, retelling your story, and learning to celebrate your path in life. Reaching out for help takes courage, and I provide a supportive place to share your story and work through your unique concerns and struggles, big and small.
I’m a proud mom of two adult children. I grew up in Oklahoma, but I have lived in Colorado for over half my life and deeply appreciate all things Colorado. My life is as full as most, and in my downtime, I find solace in audiobooks, podcasts, working out, and attending church. I am fluent in Spanish.
My Counseling Approach
My counseling is holistic and integrative. I'm passionate about working with individuals experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one, but also grief due to other significant losses like divorce, life transitions, and any event you find difficult to adjust to.
Training and Credentials
I attended Colorado Christian University, and hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I use evidence-based theories and techniques in sessions such as CBT, Solution-Focused, ACT therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Brainspotting.
Additionally, I am trained to work with clients with suicidal ideation and am highly experienced in helping those who have experienced a loss by suicide. I look forward to working with you.
